Dually-Involved Youth
Pensacola Youth Advocacy Project accepts court-appointments to represent dually-involved youth, or youth who have active cases in both dependency and delinquency systems. Pro Bono services are also available on a limited basis.
PYAP provides holistic and comprehensive legal support to dependent youth who find themselves entangled in the dependency system. In practicing holistic, client-centered counseling, the project goes beyond traditional representation by addressing the unique needs and circumstances of each youth. By taking a multifaceted-approach, the project seeks to empower these young individuals, remove all barriers, and ensure that they have the necessary tools and resources to navigate the complexities of the legal system and make positive strides towards a brighter future.
Typically, dually-involved youth have two different attorneys in either system, if at all. PYAP is unique in being able to provide legal representation in both areas, thereby strengthening advocacy efforts.
One child. One Attorney. All legal needs.
